Agreed 100%. Compare that to the typical Spurs or Rockets game. If I lived in Texas and was normally a fan of those two teams, I might think of switching allegiances to the Mavs just because I want to be entertained, not put to sleep. The Spurs have given up 100 regulation points like once I think since the start of December. Where is the entertainment in watching that?

Good basketball is good basketball, doesn't matter what the score is.

The playoff games between the Heat and the Knicks were some of the most intense games in NBA history. Yet the score was usually 78-75 or so.

But you knew that EVERY possession was important. There were no easy buckets when the Heat and Knicks played!

Funk- I understand what your saying and would agree with you on most occassions, especially in other sports.

I love a great 1-0 pitchers dual in baseball or a 10-7 defensive battle in football.

But flat out what they are playing now is NOT basketball as it was meant to be played and quite frankly it is unwatchable to this observer. Just my opinion.

Flat out, the game was at least 50% better in the late 70's and early 80's.
