Mauresmo has withdrawn the matchup against Zuluaga. The match wasn't played although she loses the game cause Zuluaga advances to Semifinals. Bets??? Should they be canceled?

sub,
If no ball is served there is no bet. All bets would be canceled in this case. There may be an exception, but it should not be the case.

Thanks GD. I declare my total ignorance in the subject. Don't know much about tennis so I appreciate it.

The match must be completed without either player retiring or being disqualified for head to head match-up wagers to stand. Otherwise, wagers will be "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and all money will be refunded.

Rule most common to this situation imo.

Wil,
depends on the book.
Most books have gone to a completed match rule since last year.
However, some still stick with the first ball served rule. Most notable of these is 5dimes, which IMO, is by far the best book for tennis bettors.

Green very true it does depend on the book. The rule I copied is from Oly. Either way Sub Z. has no bet.
