It says Jason Kidd spoke to the front office and said they needed a change of leadership.Imo players should keep their mouth shut and play the game and let ownership and managment make decisions. Not sure if he is so deserving of being fired a trip to the finals two years in a row?

I would choose your words carefully, cough cough

ever since the trade that sent "Jason Kidd" to the New Jersey Nets, the Nets have appeared in the finals 2 years in a row...

If it was Kenyon Martin running to management, then I would have a problem..

you know head coaching in general is skewed when a guy takes his team to the finals 2 yrs straight and gets fired. i mean really, is there any coach at all that could have upset the lakers or the spurs with that team?!?

I think you guys are missing one key point here, actually 2:

1-It was Scott's game desition of leaving Mutombo out, after he was playing great agaisnt duncan and Robinson, that may have decided at least one game in the finals.
The main reason the Nets got Mutombo was to play agaisnt big guys in the West

2- The Nets, RIGHT NOW, are not playing consistent basketball, even when they have the same core players, maybe it was time for a change. The expectations are to high for the Nets to be where they are, after 2 trips to the finals you can't think below that, and that's exactly what they are doing.
