I will be in Vegas over the Super Bowl. I have never been there over Super Bowl. I am wondering if I should buy a ticket to one of the casino parties or try to watch it in a sports book? I would think if I tried the sports book I would have to be there very early to get a seat. Just trying to get some input from people who have been there for Super Bowl.

Thanks Jeff

Jeff- Welcome to the RX sir.

I would recommend trying to find one that offers a decent shot at some prizes and has cheap concessions and good-looking women.

For viewing, I thing the Aladdin offers the best in their concert arena.

I presume they having one there this year.

talk to your casino host and he will either give you tickets to his casinos party or if not he can surely send you in the right direction. or call vegas tickets and buy a pair of tickets to one of the big private parties.

Jeff,

Take Extreem's advice. Go to the hotel's SB party. I have been to a few in Vegas and it was a blast every time!

go to lasvegasadvisor.com and from the home page click on to the Superbowl parties link. You will find some for as little as $10 per person at Ellis Island, right up to $100 or more. I will be in Vegas myself. Some hotels wait till the last minute before they list any plans so i like to wait. Good Luck!

Don't even think of going to a sportsbook unless you are there around 8 and have a couple of friends to guard your seats when you guys take turns getting up. The parties are good, but be very sure of what you get for the money. If you like the party food, pizza and dogs, then you will be getting a decent value for the money. Also definitely ask what the drinks will be, some are open bar where you just have to tip, others are just one or two types of beer so ask to make sure you will want to drink it as it often is just Bud Light or Coors Light. If it is a decent sized party there will be convenient betting windows set up and some of the bigger ones even have a couple blackjack or craps games set up, although very high limits. In all though be prepared for high limits all weekend as $10 tables will be hard to find and the $15 and $25 tables will be packed. SB weekend is a strange animal, all the casinos are jam packed, but the Strip itself isn't all that crowded for a weekend. It is kind of the opposite of New Years or any holiday weekend when the Strip is flooded with people, but the casinos are just somewhat crowded. This is the weekend all the action comes to town and so the casinos bump up the limits and comps of any kind are nearly impossible to get.
