just seen Arsenal at -0.5 goals at +105 and to win -135. It is both the same outcome. i asked them in the livechat if it is a bad line. the guy said no and his supervisor told him the line will stay. a couple of minutes later i checked it again and wanted to hit it. now the line is -110 and -110. so they changed it on my advise. logged into the chat, asked why it changed and guess what: no thank you or a small money bonus to my account - they told me they changed it because they got hit on the line. does that make sence? in that case both lines would have moved and not one down and one up. they simply did not want to they thanks or give me some small 25 or 50 bucks. what a low class act by this shop. that smells fishy.
i guess they checked the oly lines because they have it at -111 and -111

Just because a book doesn't want to give you a comp doesn't make them bad. I have pointed out to books errors they've made before and I received everything from, "uh, we know that already...when you know they didn't until you mentioned that" to a thank you with a nice comp. Next time you see a bad line or an offline and they don't give you the recognition you desire, screw and let it sit there. You're the player not the bookmaker. By the way, some books hang a bad line on purpose IMO for their own reasons

Unless you have dialup, you should have had the wager ready to nail as soon as you got the ok it was a good line. So how does this make BetMill horrible in this instance. Better they changed to the line they have now than you bet it and they take a shot at you possibly you think?

I don't get it a line of -.5 in hockey is not the same as the line to win. There is usually around a 40 cent difference. In this case there was absolutley no reason for you not to have felt you could hit the line.

If everyone is showing a flat line. And another book is showing -125 comeback +105, thats not a bad line.

Presumably, his Arsenal to win at -135 was on a 3-way line, making it the functional equivalent of Arsenal -0.5.

Hal,

You're proabably right. Still if everyone else is showing -110, why question a +105 line. The whole idea of having accounts at multiple books is to get different lines. Here it's not even an even money scalp.

The line on Arsenal began to drift out after their team was announced as they were missing some key players. Looks like betmill may only have been moving the -0.5 line and forgot about the 3-way line.

If you still want to get on Arsenal and are eligible to play at Betfair they are +120 on the in running market. Plenty of liquidity.

Subs: Cole , Holloway , Thomas , Skulason , Smith

it is a minor cup match and they still will beat boro

andynbg- You're dealing with a shit book that wouldn't know a soccer ball from a volleyball. There were many different prices out there on this match as people had different reactions to Arsene Wenger fielding basically a second team side. Some people liked Middlesbrough for that reason and some people played Arsenal as they were at home and haven't lost in the EPL, FA Cup or Carling Cup this season. Arsenal are competing in four competitions when you add the Champion's League to the above ones I mentioned and they don't put much emphasis on the Carling Cup.

Don't be at all surprised if Middlesbrough wins the second leg at home after their 1-0 win today at Highbury.

Moral of the story: Don't go out of your way to be nice to sportsbooks. They are trying to take your money so you should be trying to take theirs. There are no prizes for martyrdom in this business.
