It's a shame he just threw a ridiculous interception. If it was up to these announcers he could be enshrined in The Hall of Fame before the game ends. 78 yards passing, if he had a good game he'd be annointed the greatest QB of all-time.

Just look at him....those ribs are hurting like hell.

Kind of a shame to get hurt on a cheap shot & not even get a flag on it.

Oh well, Carolina +3 2nd half, LET"S ROLL!

The guy who jumped on him couldn't be sure he was down via the Carolina Player.

It's just the announcers sounding important, making that 'cheap shot' statment.....

Really fed up with all the excuses always made for McNabb. Just one after another.....What about Steve McNair, he plays hurt all season long and performs.......

Excuses?

Guy's 42-20 in his first 62 games as a starter with guy's around your level running routes for him.

Excellent post.

The issue is not Mcnabb's won/loss record. But in every game the announcers single him out the whole game as if he's the only player capable of winning the game for the Eagles. In the same vein, after Bret Favre's father died, all we heard for the next month was Bret Favre playing after his father died. It was relevant for the Raider game only. It's as if he was the only player who played after a parent died.

You said it right though General......he's a "good" QB.....not a superstar like the media and fans have made him out to be.....And I do agree his receivers arent that great, but one, that doesnt mean McNabb is any better, second....theyve been going through this for what, 3~4 years now, they've had plenty of time to go after receivers.....

Have to say though, I hope that cocky John Fox gets smoked by the Pats......and then let's see how fast he's chewing that gum!

I don't think John Fox is cocky at all and I happen to think the Panthers have an excellent chance in the Super Bowl.
