WHILE I AGREE, BOTH PHILLY AND CAROLINA HAVE PLAYED WELL, AND EARNED THEIR SHOT AT THE TITLE, IS THERE ANY DOUBT THAT THE 2 TEAMS PLAYING THE BEST RIGHT NOW, ARE MEETING IN FOXBORO ON SUNDAY?

IS THE WINNER OF SUNDAY'S EARLY GAME THE PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE TO WIN THE SUPERBOWL?

DOES THE NFC REALLY HAVE A LEGITE SHOT THIS YEAR?

That QB for Carolina and that Defense reminds me of Balt and NY Giants.

And they carry the XFL experience with He Hate Me

I dont think any of the matchups would generate even a 7 pt line.

Got to figure Ne would be a 3-4 pt fav over philly and 5-6 pt over carolina

Hey Justin
What do you think the line would be?
Thanks
I just checked with 2 linemakers and both said it would open around 3 if NE played Philly.
What is a big line to you or are you referring to the part about NE v Indy winner taking it all

dogball, Colts & Carolina is what I'm looking at.....
Indy has been playing sharp, I don't see them making a mistake to NE, which will carry over into "taking it all." Indy will be minus in the SuperBowl. JMO.

dogball, btw, when i said "Colts & Carolina is what I'm looking at.....", it had nothing to do with / wasn't a reflection of BeverlyHillsBookie and our wagers from our players, it was just what I think/want, lol.

I do think AFC has the best teams right now, but i also remember NE being a big underdog to the rams 2 years ago.
Still, i think Indy takes it all

quote:
gen pete, if your boy, manning, makes it in NE you will have a superbowl champion

That is one BIG IF. I don't want to get into a full breakdown of the game right now (not really ready) but I look for the Pats Offensive line to play very well both in pass protection (Titans never got to Brady), and opening holes for RBs Antowain Smith and Kevin Faulk (83 yards on 21 carries last week). In my mind the Titan D. posed quite a bit more problems than the Colt D. will this week for the Pats. Naturally the same can be said about the Colt O. and the Titan O. I am a bit off topic, sorry.

wil.

Must agree that this year's AFC Title Game resembles an NBA Western Conference Finals, but the line would be reasonable in any matchup of the four.

good analogy, it does appear that way, barring any unforseen injuries, but one thing, either nfc team that wins, will certainly bring a good defense to the superbowl, therefore always allowing them a chance.....but not sure any defense can stop Peyton right now, i think only the cold can do that....

The Super Bowl was held last Saturday at Foxboro.

Sure, that hick QB had great days against two god-awful defences. He'll come back to Earth this weekend, in similar fashion to the way they lost to the Jets in last year's playoffs. 41-0 anyone?

Let Vanderjagt play QB. Rather have a good Canadian boy with some heart. The wrong QB is getting all the headlines. I'd take Brady any day. He's a winner. Manning is a loser, and all you foolish Colts fans will rediscover that this weekend.
