Holding G Bay to 3 pts over the last 3 quarters is no easy task. Surprising that most pundits overlooked this in their post game wrap-ups. This was surely Donovan's day but the defensive guys did their part. IMO, Carolina will not score more than 17 points

FWIW - The Eagles D. held held Brett Favre to 10 completions in 20 attempts for just 99 yards over the final three quarters.
Their run defense played like they usually do, The Eagles got torched for 210 rushing yards, including 156 by Ahman Green. But they thwarted the Pack two out of three times in the red zone, including a goal line stand in which the Eagles stuffed Green for no gain on a fourth-and-one run from the one at the end of the first half. I say it is debatable as to which defense is really better. We will find out on Sunday. btw. CB Troy Vincent ran Monday and said he thinks he will be able to return to the lineup Sunday. Vincent has missed the last three games with a hip flexor injury. And the real key is FS Brian Dawkins, who is back to All-Pro form. Dawkins, who missed nine games earlier this season with a foot injury, had eight tackles and intercepted the Brett Favre pass that set up the Eagles' game-winning field goal.

Dog I really like the Eagles as you can see by my post above. I have'nt done a lot of work on the AFC game, but when I do, I will post it in one of your threads, most likely in the NFL forum.

WiL-
I like the eagles as well

ALso looking hard at the colts trying to figure if I am being suckered. I dont think so as they have been together for years, have true talent at all three offensive positions, have an opportunistic defense, are familiar with the advesary and venue and are clicking on all cylinders at the right time.

Carolina has a very good D and their QB is a collins/dilfer type.

I would not be surprised if they win the big game.

Phili will get there despite the overwhelming majority who believe they are going down.

This defense is healthier than they've been all year including last week against Green Bay with the return of Vincent. I think Vincent's presence will be huge for the Eagles in this game.

I am the biggest proponent of Dawkins being the motivator on this defense but Vincent's return will be HUGE. I see them winning this one going away but I still won't take off my green colored glasses.

Have to agree sportbet, Vincent makes that D even that much better.......But, in the end, McNabb will have to avoid mistakes to win it.....Of course, he wont have to deal with Ronde Barber this year!
