Question about books banning players?

Out of curiosity, do books only ban players that win big in terms of dollar amount, or players that have a high win %?

I know I have read many books cut limits on winners. Why do they do this? A player may be on a streak but mathematically aren't they bound to give it back eventually? Or do books ban only big players that bet lines right before they move?

So many questions. Any comments?

I think you last suggestion is what you mostly see. Books aren't so much concerned, it seems, about handicappers. They just don't like steam players, whether you are part of the groups that hit the numbers first or if you are a quick follower.
