Kevin CEO of Royal Sports was in chat at MW last night to shed some light on recent happenings at Royal. Here is what went on for those that weren't around. On a side note, although I don't hang at MW, I have to give them credit for having a userfriendly chat and someone to keep it organized.

I would like to thank everyone for coming and your interest in the Royal Sports Group. As you may know I have assumed the role of Managing Director for Royal in the first week of December and the transition of role from my predecessor was accelerated due to unanticipated personal matters that created short term complications in operational and banking functions which we have since alleviated. For any players that underwent any delay we apologize and assure you this was not due to any financial shortcomings. I look forward to your questions.

The transition between Roberto and I occured faster than was planned and banking and financial instruments were not completed in this abbreviated period.

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:14:45 PM)
Signatory rights on accounts is a staged process and my predecessor was not able to return to the island to transition all of these rights. Since his recent visit this issue has been solved and cash flows are now returned to normal procedure

Chatmaster (Jan 14, 2004 9:15:03 PM)
HTRC you are up

HateTheRiverCard (Jan 14, 2004 9:15:09 PM)
Kevin what measures if any are being put into place to insure that payment options such as NeTeller are always topped up and are the links for neTeller going back up on the sites if not already there. Thanks

I missed the question?

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:19:07 PM)
HTRC, thanks for coming. From October through the end of November Lay107 ran a free $25 test drive that resulted in over 4000 unique accuonts. Most of these accounts were derived from countries that are only seeking 'free' programs. The result of these accounts were upwards of 100 Neteller requests per day from unqualifed players. It was at that time that we decided to remove the automated Neteller link and revert to a manual process

brett (Jan 14, 2004 9:19:49 PM)
how many clients do you currently have at Royal?

Chatmaster (Jan 14, 2004 9:19:52 PM)
halifax...your turn

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:20:14 PM)
You can answer Brett's question first. Let's forget for a moment about the payment problems over the past month or so. Looking into the future, are you and Royal able to give a firm commitment on time frames for payouts - in other words, if a Neteller payout is requested during your specified "Payout Request Time" (9-5 EST), when is the latest that the person can expect payment ? ; If a Western Union or FedEx payment is requested before Noon, when is the latest that the person can expect a control/tracking number ?

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:21:16 PM)
My question relates to payout requests from "legit" clients, not "free rolls".

Holy_Bull (Jan 14, 2004 9:24:44 PM)
1. Do you have plans raising the neteller limits per day? 2. Do you have plans to reinstate book to book transfers? 3. Are you guys working on a more fluid organizational structure so every question doesn't get ignored or passed around?

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:24:59 PM)
Halifax, thank you for coming tonight. Neteller payouts are processed same day before 4PM and WU payouts are processed same day. FedEx payouts take 4 to 5 days in order to generate the cashiers check at which time a FedEx tracking number is issued in association with that check.

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:25:54 PM)
What is the procedure to follow for a customer awaiting a Neteller payout , if he hasn't received that payout by 4 PM ??

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:28:16 PM)
If a payout request was made prior to 4PM EST and the payment has not been received you can contact Kenneth our head of operations to expedite accounting or me directly.

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:28:29 PM)

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:32:28 PM)
Holy Bull, thanks for coming. We will announce our plans on both the Neteller limits and an escrow promotion following the superbowl. We do plan to reinstate book to book transfers with others on the island and eventually with books in Costa Rica. Yes, the operations will be undergoing drastic changes to improve customer service and communication in the ensuing weeks.

Truthteller thanks for your interest in this issue. While my predecessor had personal issues with Mr. Costigan neither I nor any other employees of Royal Sports harbour ill will towards him. We have no plans for action against him and wish to operate in a neutral business environment. Why he finds me newsworthy I can not explain.

Kevin, what is your wiseguy policy?

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:39:49 PM)
We profile our customers for their play and treat them accordingly. We intend to take a more proactive approach to this market segment and manage our risk on an individual basis.

Chatmaster (Jan 14, 2004 9:40:08 PM)

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:43:02 PM)
Steve, thanks for coming in tonight. Without reviewing your account I can not give you a definite answer however as I stated above we profile action on each account in each store seperately. If you would like your parlay limits increased I would be happy to review that with the book manager of that particular store.

Chatmaster (Jan 14, 2004 9:43:53 PM)
mr dozer your turn

BillDozer (Jan 14, 2004 9:44:26 PM)
What is an "escrow promotion"?

BillDozer (Jan 14, 2004 9:44:33 PM)
Sorry if I missed the details

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:46:43 PM)
Bill, thanks for stopping by. The details of our escrow promotion will be revealed in the upcoming weeks however to summarize it is a copromotion with a third party used as an acquisition tool for players reticent to send money offshore.

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:47:36 PM)
Let's say a customer has accounts at all 3 of your sportsbooks (Royal, GA, Lay107). Assuming that any bonus or bailout rollover requirements are complete, do you have any restrictions on freely transferring funds from one book to another.

BillDozer (Jan 14, 2004 9:47:41 PM)
but for a short time?

BillDozer (Jan 14, 2004 9:48:33 PM)
as in promo or do you plan on .... ..setting a new standard? \

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:49:38 PM)
Bill, escrow time is based on players actual balance so the time component is indeterminant. We intend to test the effectiveness of this positioning and if reponse dictates it then we would be thrilled to 'set a new standard'.

BillDozer (Jan 14, 2004 9:51:05 PM)
thanks

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:55:13 PM)
Halifiax...I missed that....in fact you have identified an evolutionary process in our account management and book positioning that we will be working with our clientele on through account managers following the superbowl. The answer is yes.

Chatmaster (Jan 14, 2004 9:55:30 PM)
htrc...fire away

HateTheRiverCard (Jan 14, 2004 9:55:43 PM)
With three different stores, are the lines and line movements based solely on action at each store or is an overall liability taken into consideration and lines adjusted accordingly at all books.

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:55:52 PM)
Yes, there are restrictions, or Yes you can freely transfer ?

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:56:37 PM)
Yes...you can freely transfer however as long as bonus requirements are met at the book the funds are currently in.

Halifax (Jan 14, 2004 9:56:48 PM)
Thx

royal_sports_group (Jan 14, 2004 9:58:39 PM)
HTRC, each book is managed on an individual basis based on action within that book. There is consideration of moving to a Wagermall concept however this is not in the very near future.

Valphlfer thanks for joining us. Due to the inplied federal banking restrictions in the US, Visa and Mastercard have put strict regulations on the treatment of wagering and gaming related transactions. Therefore we are unable to credit back cards and must use checks.

Skin, thanks for joining us. We do in fact intend to increase our props offerings dramatically in our GamblersAvenue brand to entice the recreational gambler market. As well we intend to move to a global array of mainstream products in Royal while Lay107 will feature the primary US sports and offerings.

I would like to once again state that despite a dramatic year for Royal Sports we are on very solid ground and will be increasing our products by getting into the Poker and Casino markets as well as offering a truly competitive Horse Racing product in 2004. I thank everyone for their interest and if you should ever have a question or concern please contact me directly.
