PANAMA local casinos and shops!?!?

Many here are headed to Panama for the BetPanAm Superbowl Party, possibly me included.

Would like to hear what to expect from the local scene there regarding there LOCAL walk-up shops which include sportsbooks and casino slots.

What are the betting limits in these local shops?

How many places are we talking about that offer slot play and/or sportsbetting?

Well FishHead.
I dont want to give away any secrets but. The casino's here are top notch. Some are really nice. As far as latin countries goes. You will enjoy it. We have some guys in the office that are slot players that are knocking down jackpots on a regular basis. And of course the walk up sportsbooks here. Thats the honeypot. We have converted clerks into runners. Sometimes the line moves sit there for a hour. The limits are low but you could easily grind out a nice profit if you lived here and knew what you were doing. You guys will see when you get here.Sportbetting is new here so they havent caught on yet.

I hope I can becaue the last time I was in Panama, Scotty, Dick, Marty, Chester and the rest of the crew from BetPanAM really went out of their way to show me a great time!

Fiesta Casino at the El Panama (Thunderbird Gaming), is top notch with US management. The VP of operations, Clay Hardin is an old Vegas hand and has worked at the Aladdin, Frontier and others. The Continental (Crown Casino Corp.) is newly remodeled and there is a new casino named the Majestic run by Cirsa which at least merits a visit.
For baccarat players these casinos currently are a good deal, there is a war for the chinese baccarat action and serious players will be comped accordingly. If you are a baccarat player check with the shift manager at each of these casinos to discuss the comps and current rules.

Scotty-- Whats the nite life like.Is Panama as good as Costa Rica's nite life.Also is there any nice clubs that you can meet regular girls instead of hookers.Hows the shopping in panama as my girl likes to shop alot. Thanks.

There is more English spoken in Panama than CR which makes it a little easier with the local girls. Still, you need to speak some spanish.

You can load up on those fancy golf shirts that cost $75 in the US for $15.

The casinos are much nicer than the dumps in CR and Curacao but no where close to LV.

I wouldn't know much about the night life because I go to bed by 10pm

Jersey Joe. Alot of nice clubs in Panama . Mostly disco's. Alot of nice women also. Met my wife here. And if you bring your girl she will love the shopping. Everything at about 50% cost or less. And she will have a friend in my girl if she needs a shopping companion. She is a professional shopper. And I agree with Buzzsaw. He isnt a good gauge for the nightlife. Got to get up early to do business with him. 7 am I think for breakfast.Haha. Anyway look forward to meeting anyone that shows up.
