I broke down a few months back and decided to open an acount there... Got a msg that my ssn wasn't valid and they wanted me to call security. I called and called...finally got some kid on the phone that said that I had to go to the Social Security Administration and get a letter saying my number was mine.

I'm freaking out because I think someone stole my ssn or something. I ended up calling the Soc. Sec office to check things out... they asked me a bunch of questions plus I had to tell them my SSN and they told me that everything was fine.

I never did call Neteller back, I don't feel like being treated like a scam artist. They will never make a penny from my money.

I was never comfortable with giving them my number so I still dont use them, there are enough other options to get my money to books

PROBABLY a good thing, but they dont really need your social to figure out who you are.
