Almost certainly, can you really see the voters not voting him in? He could beat out anyone right now for a spot because of the hype.

Last I saw, he was way behind in the voting. Vince Carter and Allen Iverson were well ahead of him.

Speaking of which....

Vince Carter?!?!

If he is truly one of the best guards in the East anymore, it's no wonder the conference is a joke. Nice goin' fans!

If the Cleveland Cavalier fans stuff the ballot boxes the same way the Cleveland Indian fans do in baseball, he will be a starter for sure.

Sorry I was wrong in that previous post. I looked up the All-star balloting and Vince Carter was leading, but it was at forward. Of course, outside of Jermaine O'Neal, there isn't another East forward deserving, so I can sort of understand why "Vinsanity" was receiving all those votes.

When I saw the other day that Vince Carter led the NBA in votes, I just absolutely could not believe it! What a freaking joke......I suppose it would be easy to say that the majority of NBA fans are not highly intelligent.

I can see him being a reserve of course, but for him have more votes than the rest of the league with players like McGrady......Iverson....Shaq.....Kobeaballhog, and yes.....EVEN James is completely hilarious.

Go to NBA.com and look at the All-Star Ballot. Look at the East forwards and try and find somoene else deserving besides J. O' Neal. That is the real reason why Vince leads the voting. Honestly, I voted for O' Neal and Abdur-Rahim for goodness sakes.

Doberman, what I meant is last I saw, he led the entire league in voting. That is absurd....also, no offense, but nothing wrong with Ron Artest , Kenyon Martin, and Donyell Marshall should of easily been on that list. I think it's obvious now that McGrady left that Carter was quite overrated. He's still a good player of course, but he's diminished a bit since he's realized his cousin T~Mac, who was once in his shadows, is actually the much better player......

Hache,

I see the T-Mac trash talk has returned quite conveniently the day after he finally blows up. Where's it been when he was throwing up bricks for weeks?

GO RAPIST....er....I mean GO KOBE!

lol.....naaaaa, trust me Sundevil, nothing to brag about with those Magic this year!
icon_frown.gif
I listed your boy Dope, I mean Kobe, in with those other guys sun.....
icon_razz.gif
lol....Your gonna see one day though my friend, That is Shaq's team. How far do you think just a Kobe-led team could go? Well, no further than T~Mac took the Magic last year. Got to have some help, and how much better can help get than Shaq?!
icon_eek.gif
We know the answer to that one. But seriously, I know McGrady and Kobe both, of course are great players, my only arguement has always been, T~Mac's numbers are already great, just imagine if he had the most physical, dominant center in NBA history under HIS basket drawing double and triple teams away, opening up the floor for him like he does Kobe......

I agree Vince doesn't deserve it Hache, and Artest and Martin are better players, but look at their repuations and you can see why Vince leads the vote. I don't agree with it, but explaining the reasoning behind it.

you guys are stupid...

all-stars is about entertainment.
that's why they don't play defense.

vince carter is arguably the best dunker in the history of NBA. (yeah, better than the man jordan IMO) that's why he gets the highest votes year in and year out!

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

Next year I am pretty sure james will lead the eastern conference in all star voting. James, may Right now people are still in the Vince Carter mindset. Glad that there are players in the league who are not Jordan clones (ex. Carter, Kobe).

James,Wade and Cormello are great players to.
