Theoretically since they are all outside of the jurisdiction of the US they shouldn't be able to, but since the US pretty much occupies anyone that doesn't agree with them I wouldn't bet on it.

Thanks, it probably hasn't happened yet, but IRS supposed to be hardening their stance in audits again, just wondered if they could follow the trail from bank account to neteller and ultimately to sportsbook.

IRS: Hello Neteller? yes this is the IRS... Hand over your records.

NET: Screw you, we are in Canada.

IRS: Hello Mounties? yes neteller is helping Terrorist harbor and move money... we need your help.

MOUNTIES: Hello Neteller? yes this is the Mounties... Hand over your records.

NET: OH SHIT! NOW WHAT?

I used to take economics in the high school. We had to make a special report about business and countries economies like Honda,A&TT etc. So he say to us just call up the companies and ask them for info. So the joke was "Hello Japan, I'm in Mr. Williams Economics class and I had a few questions about your economy"

Just save your EFT deposits into your bank...and if you can offset with with gambling losses just save the PROOF in the rare case of an audit... if you can not offset them with losses just PAY YOUR TAX

its really simply IMO

All they have to do is subpoena YOUR Neteller records from YOU. They don't have to go to Neteller to get them if you're a US citizen.

If under Court oredr you refuse to comply, you're screwed. If you say that you don't have a Neteller account and they prove otherwise, you're also screwed.

Moral of the story, pay your taxes.

IRS would first have to have some cause to need the records. They generally don't mess with them though, they can prove enough from bank accounts unless you don't use banks.

So Hanover you're saying that the IRS would just look at positive cash flow into neteller from outside sources like sportsbooks, and tax you on the positive cash flow? That does make sense.

Obviously a gambling diary is the best way to do it, but I don't have good enough records.
