hi guys, Canadian here.
ok. USD has been dropping like a rock, and I have some US dollars that I don't want to convert back to Canadian, so might as well open a US account in the states so I can shop online (thru paypal / ebay)

my question is:
1. which US bank is good (accepts) foreigners to open an account (free)?

2. what do I need to bring (ids)

3. money transferrable to paypal?

i think most big banks do. they just make you fill out an extra form that exempts you from tax on interest i believe.

you just need reular Id... i used my passport and/or DL i think...

you can do anything you want but make sure they have decent internet and phone service.

i have only used bank of america and they are fine. deposit 10k and there are no fees.
