As great as he was and its still great to see "Mr College Football" involved after all these years....But to have him call the Grand Daddy Rose Bowl when he obviously has very poor vision is tough on the ears.... He has already seen a
'phantom' fumble (that never happened, the reciever just switched direction) and then he calls an interception an incomplete pass....I know he is probably as big a name announcer as there has ever been, but his play calling is an embarassment at this time in his hall of fame career....

He had me really confused early with his comment about the fumble when I was watching the guy bounce off tackles with the ball in his hands.

Maybe its more obvious when you have money on the game.. He's really driving me nuts with his boners ..Last drive of the half...Michigan QB has the ball batted down clearly and Jackson says " Navarre lost the grip on it" LOL...Oh Nellie!?

Mr. Jackson is a transplanted southerner by the way.........not so. cal either.........

If Edwards wakes up this game will get a lot more interesting. If Navarre can't get time then SC will roll in the 2nd half.

This game is the GRANDDADDY of them all. You need someone who knows the history of this contest. Dan Fouts is the best announcer in the game, and knows the history of the GRANDDADDY as does Keith, both Pac 10 grads, we dont need outsiders doing the broadcast.

Hey I remember the GRANDDADDY of them all in 1994 against Oregon...how about you Dodo?

Keith Jackson is a living legend, but it probably is time to hang it up.

On the last play of the game, when USC picked up a first down and the runner was clearly tackled in bounds (and the clock was stopped momemtarily to move the chain as it should have been), Jackson should have been putting the win in perspective or congratulating USC or something to that effect. Instead, he said "he went out of bounds...there will be one more play." Meanwhile, the players were celebrating and it took Fouts to correct Jackson and say the clock would be restarted and the game was over. It was just an awkward conclusion.
