Sober over 13 years, not a drop. I used to love to drink, but it cought up to me, nearly killed me, but with a LOT of help, I was able to quit in 1990. Best, and hardest, thing I ever did. The first year was the roughest, today as long as I "remember when", I'm OK. I don't usually bring this issue up on any forum, but seeing the topic, I thought I would share just a little.

wil, i guess, sooner or later, or, better sooner than later i ll need my fair share of help to actually and honestly go completely drink free for that allocated couple of month period and stick to a proper unit per week drink schedule...
p.s. so you reckon abstinence is the way, not a drop you say, not even on holidays, on special occasions?!?!???

Jack, I quess it is 2004 in Athens, just want to say Happy New Year to you. Good luck cutting back on the booze, you won't be sorry. Hope you can make some dough this weekend. FWIW. I can't see the Cowboys doing much at Carolina. I watched the regular season game between the two in Dallas, and the Cowboys won, but were lucky to do so. On the road they don't figure to get more than 14 points. Panthers - 3 is my play.

I LOVE to party. After therx bash I tried to get people to go out to the club but I ended up just going out with my friends. We bought a bottle of grand marnier and courvoiser X.O.
Of course I am alot younger than most on this site so I am probably more prone to staying out real late and partying.
While I like to party I would not want to considered a drinker among the likes of panther/uncle b. Although I drink a ton it's in a party/social atmosphere so I hope that makes it better
