Just opened an account with Pinnacle. Was going to send funds, but then I noticed under the "Deposit and Payout" options, they say you can send funds via WU, but NO mention of withdrawing funds through WU. Don't want to deposit unless I 100% certain I can withdraw through Western Union.

Also...$700 limits on all the bowl games? Is this the norm?? Rather surprising for such a highly-touted book....just curious

chief- Pinnacle doesn't do Western Union payouts. They are a very solid book and a good place to have an account. Their aversion to phone calls has always bothered me a bit but Pinnacle is topnotch.

Chief - yes you can take a withdrawal via Western Union, I've done it 50 times if I have done it once. Just drop them an e-mail and they will take care of the rest. Tell them your name, acct #, how much you want and where you will pick it up. Put it in before 6AM and you will have it in a few hours. End of story.

I assume you are joking about the limits.

I'm not sure if the $700 limit is a joke or not but as Swoop said $700 is the normal overnight limit. Currently they have a $5000 limit on all bowl games.

Patrick- Good information. I wasn't aware that Pinnacle did Western Union payouts. If that's the case, then they really should have covered that in their FAQ section.

When I asked for payout through Western Union a month ago, they replied that they do not offer Western Union as a method of Withdrawal.

Weird stuff guys. The only thing I can think of is it's like their phone number, they have it but don't really want to advertise it much. The last one I took was 3 weeks ago, I am POSITIVE they do them. Send the info I said above or hell just write and ask them, I will guarantee you they do them. I couldn't use Neteller for about 4 or 5 months and got used to WU policies at the books, yes Pinnacle does them. This is where I send my requests.....

PS - if they don't want this out I guess you can delete it if you want General. I do notice they don't advertise it under their banking area on the forum......

Pinnacle prefers to not do WU payouts. They'll do them on request, but you have to be persistent (e.g. the first time you ask, they'll tell you that they don't do WU payouts). Of course, the player will pay all transfer fees, but that's to be expected with WU.
