BETTING ANGLE...............betting on teams that "have to win"..........

betting on a team that needs to win a game to make the play-offs or improve playoff position (homefield)....OR....... betting against a team that has nothing to gain by winning....has never been one of my favorite angles.......

rams didnt show up.......needed a win

k.c. should of slept through the game, but crushed the bears...

stuff like this happens every year.....

imo......EVERY TEAM PLAYS TO WIN.....(at least going into the game).......regardless of implications.........

Dime,
Certain teams just seem to lose moral and they don't show up for the 2nd half ...

I'm talking teams like Washington, Buffalo, Oakland and NY Giants ...

on paper they're not bad, on turf they're horrible

As if they just threw in the towel once things got bad

No doubt about it. Its talent and desire that wins games. None of these teams want to lose. Some may throw the towel in early, if they get to far behind. But like Dime says, EVERY team wants to win at kick-off time.

Dimes I agree...I think they even try HARDER if its in there own house and they do not need a win

I prefer betting the other side. The linesmakers are goign to rope you into laying more points than you should with the faves. Look at all the 7.5 and 8's out there today.

Bengals had to win, they lost.
Rams needed win for home field, they lost.
KC needed win for home field, they won in rout.
Vikes needed win, they lost.
Pack needed win, they won. (Denver rested several starters and was still down only 10-3 with ball on 2, before they folded.

As you see, 3 huge money line dogs came in.
Sometimes, having to win against a team with nothing to lose gets to you.
