New England a couple years ago not only played the AFC Championship at home it also had the wintery conditions...With New England and St. Louis both home for the entire playoffs we could be looking at a rematch...

I know te Colts in particular have looked like two different teams home and away...Who has the toughest home field in these playoffs?

I can see Philly going to the dome and winning more then the Rams going outdoors and making it....

In the AFC, Balto. KC. and New England will be tough for anyone to take at home.

Arrowhead makes the Chiefs very hard to beat. On the road they are no better than average. At home its a different story. The good or maybe great thing about the Pats is they have shown that they can win on the road, of course it looks like the only road game they will have to play is in Houston. (if they get that far).

Well we can know officially say the Pats will enjoy homefield throughout the AFC playoffs. Anyone care to predict what team has the best chance to come into Foxboro and win.

I think the Pats have a huge edge.

First, they seem to play very well at Foxboro, but also as the weather gets baaaaaaaaaaaad they'll have a big edge there as well.

KC and St Louis. Minny also, but it looks like they won't get a home game.
KC has the best chance to go into NE and win, but I don't know if they'll get the opportunity. NE is the best playoff matchup for The Chiefs. They can't exploit the Chiefs big weakness, Run D, like most every other team.

It would'nt suprise me if the Chiefs get knocked out in their first game, home or not. I do like Dick Vermiel however, hard not to.

Ravens - with the running and defense , I think they would have the best shot traveling to New England....

It seems everyone has written off Kansas City

Believe it not, as a Pat fan, the team I fear most, is Denver. I really can't give stats, or tangible reasons, its just a feeling.

I would have to say that the New England Pats have ther greatest advantage. The weather as well as vociferous fans make for the best advantage a team can ask for.

By the way Steve Young sounds like an idiot on TV when he says that because of parity the home team advantage has become essentially meaningless in the NFL. Quite the opposite, parity makes the home field even more important and gives New England the edge.
