i wish my first post here was a positive one but it isnt. At this point it is more of a complaint then anything else but is b.s none the less.
I signed up for an account there and sent 3 western union deposits (cash). i lost the first 2 and won almost 2500 off the last deposit. I called up this a.m asking for a withdrawal and was told that i couldnt do it as they didnt have my id on file. I told them that no one ever asked and shouldnt that be asked when you signup and was told i had to scan my id and send it. I didnt have a scanner so i bought one and sent it and now was told it is too late for a withdrawal today and to top it off they said that it cant be sent for a week and when i asked to speak to a manager was told there were none in. i think that is a b.s tactic and shouldnt go un-noticed. i thought these guys were legit now but why use these tactics.needless to say i closed my account.

I have discussed with GA. The reason for the problem is as follows.

GA doesn't process Western Union pay outs over the weekend.

You called your request at 12:44 pm. Requests for western union pay outs are to be made from Monday to Friday before 12 Noon E.T.

Your payout will be processed on 12/29.

The ID requirement sounds legit to me..wouldn't want someone else to withdraw your money for you. I think it's a minor inconvenience for better security.

I'm all for security BUT I think it's bullchit if they do not tell you about the ID requirement up front before you fund your account.

The ID requirement IS spelled out in the written rules for Royal and Gamblers Avenue:

"Note: All accounts must have a valid ID on file before any withdrawal can be processed."

general,
2 problems with that.

1.i originally called and put in the withdrawal at 10 am by the time i went and bought a scanner and called back it was 12:40. the original request was put in over 2hours before noon
2. i NEVER asked for a western union withdrawal. it was supposed to be fedex.
they are pretty inept over there.

i just spoke to them and they do have it as fedex.i am not worried about being paid it just irked me they dont tell you about the id thing when you sign up. why wait till you withdraw?

i fear you may be right. If they told me about this id rule when i signed up and deposited it wouldnt have been an issue. My withdrawal would have went through no problem and the withdrawal would have been sent today as i called 2 hours before their "cutoff". Good stall tactic to keep your money around for 3 extra days. Knowing my luck i will go 0-8 and lose it all but i would really like them to pay me a bigger withdrawal for the b.s...what do they say "greed kills" or something like that.......hopefully monday my expression will be
