I liked marty when he was in kc, but lets face it, he hasnt been an effective coach since then. washington was a flop, then he was replaced by spurrier. now he is in s.d. where his record is 11-20 as their coach. and have lost 19 of the last 24.

there is talent in s.d. so that isnt the only problem. sure they are weak in certain areas, but there is enough talent there to be at least a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

i think marty just isnt in touch with the players anymore.

Just doesnt seem to be a players coach.

Always thought he was overrated.

`86 '87 Cleveland he had those parts, strong running game and an accurate high percentage passer with a great tight end and a solid defense...Its hard to 'plod' your way down the field without eventually making a mistake and having to punt, with that ultra conservative game plan....

Quite a stand on your opening day back as a mod, but your right RPM. Mary should move on from the RX. Maybe Shrink will "buy" it back.
