No cheating guys, what was your best score on an 18 hole golf course....We must have tons of avid golfers around here ( me not one of them, lol)

So who walks around in those funny outfits and can shoot below 80?

I used to shoot 71 all the time, in all seriousness.

When I got to 71 I would walk off the course, I figured at some point I would finish a whole round,

30yrs later and I am still waiting.

Last summer was my first time playing. Was able to shoot an 89. Good clubs make all the difference; I love my Cleveland Launcher 400

62. In a pro-am. I was 10 under after 13, all birdies, and had one bogey and a birdie coming in. That was in Oct of 1991. Haven't broke 65 since.

26 at putt-putt when I was 15. Won the amateur tournament that night and got a trophy and like 20 free rounds.

max: You've got to play fearless to go low. Most people will never know the feeling of what it's like to control the golf ball throughout a round of playing. The shot's that must be executed to finish all eighteen holes are what makes the game the best.

Stew,

I've had a few 69s before, but never on the golf course.

Very impressive!

About 7-8 over par for me was my best.

I am a bogey golfer.

RX,

No, and never gave it a thought. I played against some pros on a regular basis and they're in another league. The lowest my handicap ever got was a +2. Your average tour pro, on his home course, is probably a +5 or better. I played in a couple of Pac Coast Amateurs as an invitee but that's it.

Buzz,

Nice round!
