St John best player and Gagliardi award player (Like the heismann for Div III) is basically out with a very ver bad hamstring. He will start but mostly as a Decoy in his routs as long as he can go. · The Johnnies are the winningest NCAA Division III football program with a .696 overall winning percentage and a 507-214-24 all-time record in 93 seasons. On Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, the Johnnies became the 15th NCAA Division III team all-time to win 500 games. Only the University of Minnesota has more wins than SJU in Minnesota collegiate football history.
· Since 1990, SJU has an overall record of 145-24-2 (.854).
· SJU head coach John Gagliardi (Colorado College ’49) is in his 55th season as a collegiate head coach and 51st season in Collegeville. Gagliardi currently owns a 413-114-11 collegiate career record and a 389-108-10 record at SJU. On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, Gagliardi set the all-time collegiate win record, previously held by former Grambling State head coach Eddie Robinson, with a 29-26 last-minute win over Bethel in front of a school record 13,107 fans at Clemens Stadium in Collegeville.
· SJU‘s 13 wins this season ties the single-season school record. The Johnnies also won 13 games during the 2000 season, when they advanced to the Stagg Bowl.
· The Johnnies have won 25 of their last 26 games.
· SJU has had 17 consecutive winning seasons and 36 consecutive non-losing seasons.
