Question Regarding Reverse Bets...

Why don't many, if any, offshores take these bets? A lot of locals have stopped as well. Are these bets a bad deal for the bookmaker? I don't know the eact math behind them but it would seem that the book would still have the edge with:
win/win +400
lose/win -110
lose/lose -220

Anyone have any insight?

With squares, the book will make plenty of money on reverses.

Unlike parlays though, a reverse does not have a built in juice advantage for the house, it has the same advantage as the straight plays.

People who play a lot of reverses tend to be rollercoasters too. Peaks and valleys, much more volatile.

Thanks for the response. When you say the same advantage as straight plays, there is at least a built in -110/100 advantage though, correct?
