Cardinals finally tried to improve this offseason by signing Reggie Sanders and Jeff Suppan. They were able to sign them by freeing up payroll in the Drew/Marrero trade on Sunday. Suppan should be an innings eater while Sanders should provide some defense and speed to the lineup. The Cards still need to do more to catch the Astros and Cubs offseason.
