Bernie Baseball must not be good enough to roam centerfield anymore?

As much as I hate the Yankees I do like this move bringing in Kenny Lofton relatively cheap and the guy is a winner.

Torre is going to love making his new lineup out

Looks like a good lineup, but what about the pitching now that Clemens and Petite is gone. Will Kevin Brown make an impact. He is solid, but his record has been down abit.

Well don`t forget Vasquez...He will probably emerge into a superstar....Brown is always one pitch away from the DL it seems...And who knows if Brown can dominate the AL, he was a very average #3 starter before going to the NL...

This will be a very different year for the Yankees as oppossed to the past few. Indeed, a couple new people in the line-up and pitching rotation, but I do like this new line-up. I hope to see them come as close as this past year, if not further, but it is going to be a different year for them.

I think Brown is an improvement over Clemens in the rotation. Roger was inconsistent and was out of gas much of the season.

Boomer's health and replacing Pettite is another issue. Contreras has the potential to be dominating, but he hasn't been proven every five days. Maybe they'll get lucky and Lieber wil be a positive surprise.

Not leading off thank God. Soriano strikes out too much and has ZERO patience at the plate. Hopefully, Lofton hasn't lost too much at the plate or in his legs.

The batting order will be VERY interesting...I bet it takes MONTHS for Torre to get it together. Other than Boone batting 9th and Lofton leading off I have no idea what Torre will do.

The hitting looks solid. All I want now is a solid left handed pitcher....

Unreal offseason for yankee fans, very disappointing. Including slapping bernie and andy in the face. Yanks looking like crap and steinbrenner reverting to old form. Organization in disarray, from gm to manager to key players, not pretty

I have never understood the lack of preferential treatment towards Petitte?

What starting pitcher has meant more since Andy has been with them? But year in and year out he was the one being dangled in the wind!

I hope Andy wins 22 and coaxes The Rocket out of retirement!

Andy will naturally have great success with HOuston and Roger is all but unretired. Bank on that

but I would'nt mind see him hook up against Kerry Wood or Mark Prior again at Wrigley. Also, how about a show down with the bases loaded against Barry Bonds, in a big game.

wil.

But you gotta love that story (if it happens)

LOL, I heard Rocket said he would do it, IF Nolan Ryan joined him...Ryan was kicking around the idea today on the set of an Advil commercial....But wondered aloud if he could still hit the mid 90`s after 6 innings lol!
