Phillipines sportsbooks and sportsbars around Manila?

I've been lurking for a long time, but just signed up tonight. GL all!!

I'm going to the Phillipines very soon and I'll be there throughout bowl season. I normally use a local and I don't feel like calling overseas.

I've read that there are casinos in Manila and some other areas. I'm curious if those casino have sportsbooks? No matter what search I do I can't get info. on Phillipino casinos..I just know they are there!!!

Anyways, if anyone knows whether the casinos have sportsbooks, I'd appreciate a response.

Also, If anyone lives there or has visited, I'd appreciate info. on a sportsbar (around Manila) I can watch american sports in a cool american-like atmosphere.

Only legal casinos in the country. There are many illegal ones and the people bet on lots of things, but not much American sports. The big betting activity is on cockfighting, doubt you will want to do that!

I have a friend that worked with them for 2 years , said it was the most miserable time of his life. The cities are insanely overcrowded, the poverty you see is unbelievable, and the weather is just terrible. Only good things he said are that just about everyone speaks English and the women are cute and as long as you are American pretty easy to get.

Hey Joe, I haven't been over there for many years but I spent a few R&Rs there. I don't know if Uncle Charlie's is still there but that has to be the craziest bar I've seen in any country. Be safe though! Manila is insane. Wild Bill is so correct about the crowded nature of the city. There are parts of the city that are only a block away from the Sheraton, Hilton etc. that are downright nasty. Back in the late 70's I made a few hundred with FIGHTING SPIDERS there.

Was a great time...............Also the COCK FIGHTS are held in STADIUMS.....
