I Wonder why the NFL didn't think of playing two games on sat?

One at 12:30 and one at 4:00 est,would of got big rating.Sorta like thankgiving[without the turkey]
Since it's the one weekend off in NCAA football.
I for one am not ready for just basketball on a cold sat.afternoon.
Just a thought.............

I may have the answer. The NFL would surely have a couple Saturday games on an open Saturday. So there has to be a reason. The reason is to cover any make-up college games. Just a thought.

I think the deal with the colleges has always been only the last 2 weeks will they have Saturday games. Since they have moved the season back so much with the later starts and the 17 week season, they miss good opportunities.

Div 2 has playoffs too, no BCS crap. We have already reached the finals though, championship game on ESPN today. GO SIOUX!
