I notice not all of the Advertisers on this web page have the best rating at Sportsbook Review, some in fact are in the D range...just wondering why that is? Is there conflict of information? Sometimes it seems during conversations on these threads that not all the information that comes out is unbiased?
I appreciate the help...sorry for venting, just a bit irritated, the other day there were long conversations on these threads about certain books & other issues...& no one here took the time to post these other sites to offer assistance about these books...Pretty silly (& childish) to try & have an open forum & then ban people from posting competitive links....Sorry RX....this is just My Opinion
General, let me ask u this, if all opinions are appreciated...how come the other day when there wass a thread on this site & we were discussing the reliability/safety of a certain book that advertises on this site...not one poster came to the thread & added the fact that SBR has this particular Book as a Strong warning with a D- rating & encouragement to take your money out.
I understand that different people make ratings in different ways however I can only imagine, that due to 'politics' or 'pressure' no one felt comfortable posting this information to the thread... so what we are left with, is a censored thread? thoghts?

I believe that there should be a rating system that tries to regulate the industry and keep customers informed..I am all for that..
My customers know me and my company..SBR has been very unfair in how they rate my book..
I had 3 customers refer my book to friends but because of my rating there, each player passed..
I am not bitter..After speaking with each player and there concerns, 2 of them ended up posting with us..Small deposits, but its up to my staff and I to show our value..
I dont know their system or how it works..I hope through time, my ratings improve..

Yeah let's be honest a little cheese for John never hurts anything. In fact if you don't pay he won't even give the readers the name of the book. For instance if you pay then its Olympic, if you don't pay he just puts Oly. Even admits he doesn't want to make it easy for new people to find a book unless he's getting greased. Even if it's a solid book!!! Still a hoot to read the "we don't take dollar one from advertisers" he has on the front page. He has gotten his teeth kicked in all over the internet for that lie but still hangs on to it blindly with a wink and a nod.
Anyway I do believe the guy and the site does have some value for the newer posters, just needs to knock off the "I do this for the love of helping others" routine. Who cares if he makes a buck? The sooner the other books realize it the quicker their ratings will improve. Ask the people at OnLineBet how it all works.....

I was in a really bad mood this morning...had to wake up for work with a splitting headache...I just took a 4 hour nap to cool off & decided to write off College hoops for today....
didnt mean to be snappy...just got a bit irritated when I read the bad review at john's sire in relation to a book that advertises on this site & I was considering joining...dont want to post the bad info here (John could be full of it???!!!!) I guess at first it bugged me that no one came on the thread to warn of the bad rating at John's site. Now I can understand a little more however...I suppose people don't want to hurt others, especially if the facts are not 100%....EVERYONE SHOULD DO THEIR OWN DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE SENDING MONEY TO ANY BOOK....lesson I learned...referral from one person...even one website...is not enough
