This could get ugly!!!

1) Party's CS sucks unless you are a preferred player and then it just sucks less.

2) The sites monitor heads up play:
a) if avivz3 and the other player have played games full ring games together and it appeared that they colluded they probably shut down the account since the heads up play would be seen as a money transfer mechanism without using the available transfer feature (to avoid detection).
b) if the other player was using a stolen credit card or some other unsavory means to fund the account then avivz3 could appear to be a part of the scam since the money was being transferred to him (via heads up play).

Party stinks when it comes to the human side of the poker game. With that said, they have made strides to prevent collusion, scamming, and all-in abuse. As a matter of fact, over the last 2 weeks I reported two guys for all-in abuse and Party reviewed the accounts and limited their all-in availabilty. If the abuse continues Party will close the accounts.

BTW, why does it seem that MANY complaints reagrding account closures and bonus recaptures at books and poker rooms come from non-U.S. players? Is it that Americans are not as ingenious as the rest of the world and fail to think of the scams? Are American more honest? Are player verification/set-up processes geared toward Americans so the denizens of the rest of the world have "difficulty"

with their accounts?

General let me know (via this thread) if Party contacts you? I didn't realize that the Rx had a dispute resolution relationship with Party or any other poker rooms for that matter.

Areeff-

Why does this matter? Party still rakes the pot. Why would they care if two people decided to play heads up in order to earn a bonus faster? In fact I would think that Party would encourage it since they make a TON on heads-up and short-handed play.

Since I don't make 4-5 BB at 4/8 or 3-4 BB at 5/10 like you I may be a bit slow in understanding your point.

I think party poker offers a 1 time sign up bonus. Makes it a juicy target for scammers. One person opens an account and acts likea legit player. Then a second person opens an account gets the bonus, and goes head to head with the first guy. Of course the second guy loses. Then a third gy opens an acocunt, takes the bonus, and also goes head to head with the fist uy. And amazingly, the third guy also loses. This scenario keeps repeating itself until the wores run out of computers/ip addresses to use.

Aviv,

DOn't know you. You could be an honest guy. But Danes an Isrealies have a terrible reputation in the casino world for scamming bonuses. The mere fact that you are Israeli, probably raised a red flag. If you've done nothing wrong, I hope you get your money back in time to buy some jelly donuts for Chanukah.

If contacted, I will act upon the request of the player and/or PP. There is no dispute mediation agreement with PP. I can only try to assist on my own.

I have never quite Understood why people from certain countries are banned from certain sportsbooks or banned from getting bonuses...What are some of the common scams that they uses? & what exactly is it...are they the only countries where people can figure out these scams? confused....

Aviv it is odd, is it not that you played poker twice with the same individual in a head to head game...Is this other person also from Israel...how did it come about that you were playing them?

i must agree about the customer service there...i think their poker room is by far the busiest, and funnest....but if you have a problem, trying to find someone to help is a joke.....i tried the live help, sat there for 5 minutes with my question typed in, no response.....then i called customer service with my problem, was transferred 3 times, each time having to tell the whole story, give acct number, then with 4th person, he said "i can help you, hold please" and disconnected me........called back told them i had been disconnected, he gave me a direct number to call, and i called it, its says please hold for next available person, then says you are being connected, they pick up, it disconnects me....

finally got it taken care of, and there were always polite, but it took 25 minutes to take care of something that should have taken no more than 5 minutes easy....

Sounds like that's exactly what happened.

He played one week later, and coincidentally happened to be playing solo against the very same player from one week before.
