Nobelest gesture at the RX this holiday season?

McIrish, soon to be divorced from the RX offered an individual who has nowhere to go for Christmas an invitation to his home to spend Christmas with him and his family. this mind you is a forum poster who Mcirish doesn't know from adam. I know that a lot of people talk shit about you, and on the other hand a lot of people here love you. However, a gesture like that should not go ignored. In my eyes Mcirish, you are all class and heart. Merry Christmas to you, and I really hope we still see plenty of you when you are fighting that thing we both share called "insomnia" Good luck to you sir. You are good people.

Thanks Alki. Trust me I don't really take this forum stuff as seriously as most. When I was just a poster the forums would often tell me if you want to continue to be seen as a respected poster you need to knock it off. Before I came to work at the RX some posters said if you want to continue to be respected you can't work there Patrick! I never asked anyone to respect me on these forums, I tend to do things that I enjoy and leave the judging for the others. To me we are all just posting personas with opinions behind them, just a small part of our real life if you think about it. I can live easily with as much or as little on-line respect a poster wants to give me. What I can't live with is a man alone on Christmas who doesn't want to be. I did open my home to him but didn't offer to pay for the ticket, could have done that too I guess. Thanks for the props though, Christmas is a nice time to make nice gestures towards others.
