I remember a while back someone went to visit him..can anyone pass this information on to me so I may contact Jay?

I think his case was interesting and I for one would like to see him and find out his plans for the after his stint.

you are 100% correct, dante. i did see him:

http://therxforum.com/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=100090022&f=988094022&m=5813031886

and i must admit - i have rarely had a more enlightening and therapeutic time then when i went to see him.

watching families (wives. kids, parents) get to see (mostly) the men that were sent here was amazing.

i was there a lot longer then i planned on being. i will never forget my visit here, too and some things that went on.

i recall buying jay a soda - and then another one as well as a sandwich. i put the money in the vending machine. jay's soda cost $.60 so i put in 3 quarters. when the $.15 change came out - jay made it very clearly known he could NOT touch money - not even the tiny amount there was.

i recall how nervous i was driving in the see him. i wasn't nervous about something bad happening - just of the unknown - what the inside looked like as well as what we would talk about - since i had never met jay before in my life. when i left the building we were in - and got into my car and went to drive off - for the first time since i got my license at age 16 - i really took the time to get into my car and drive away - for the experience was so different. i recall standing out front of the building i met jay - and looking ahead - and seeing the las vegas speedway abut 1/2 mile away - and clearly visible. i actually felt strange driving away - knowing jay wasn't going to get that chance.

keep in mind - the placa jay is at - is the lowest "security prison" out there. there was a rool call when i was there - and the guards made their presence known - but it wasn't like i was in the company of serial killers and/or rapists. these were guys who did non-violent stuff - and, if released into the general public - wouldn't be any kind of danger at all.

i only wish everyone could have had the chance to visit jay - for you would never forget it.

i know when i told my family i was going to a prison to see someone i get a lot of funny looks - and questions asking me why. when i told them they still thought i was off my rocker (which i am) but understood.

when jay gets out i would love the chance to e-mail him or similar.
