I know that the vegas casinos do it, i just wonder if any off-shore sportsbooks would extend any sizeable credit to a "whale" type of player. I would think it would be risky, but it may be a move that helps sportsbooks retain a great player. I think if i were a book, and had a huge player that has lost tons over the years that I may extend hin credit. I wonder what sportsbooks would do in this situation.

Meyer, the EASIEST WAY a book can LOSE a "good" (losing) player, IS TO GIVE HIM CREDIT, unless it's someone with an untold fortune like a Kirk Kirkorian or Carl Ichan type guy - and even then with a weekly settle.

EVERYTIME a good (losing) player is extended credit he will become a laydown. Joey has already informed you of this but ask any bookmaker that has allowed a post up player to become a credit player and he will repeat verbatim what Joey said. If the two have a business relationship thats one thing but any post up player that was solicted via the book's marketing efforts the book should never extend credit to that player ever.
