Those were the days!

I remember shovling driveways for 5-6 hours with my brother and walking 3 miles afterword to our local grocery store (Wegmans) to buy 1 Atari game at $35 back then. We were so fawking giddy walking home with our prize Atari game.. lol.


I remember the night we got hockey, we played for hours. The first night we got it we stayed up all night cause school was canceled because of a snow storm. That night we played a best of 5 series and were tied at 2-2, the last game was very tight. My brother, being the great guy that he was, knocks my joy stick out of my hand with 3 seconds to go and wins the game. I proceeded to get up, walk into the kitchen, heat a metal spatula over the stove, walked back and placed it firmly on my brother's bare back. He screamed like I've never heard anyone scream in my whole life. I proceeded to run like the wind out of the house. He gave chase with the 15 inch black n white TV that we used to play video games on. As I rounded the corner of our hallway leading to the back door I heard a crash, my brother had buzzed the TV through the house and it crashed into my mother's aquarium in the kitchen. Later that night, after the smoke cleared we both went to bed, I woke up that morning and found that my brother had decided to get me back by urinating on me in the middle of the night. I still hate that mawther fawker for doing that till this day.

Every time I hear Atari, that rather unfortunate incident pops up in my head.

He still has a small spatual imprint on his back!

I say again:

Those were the days!

The games were so simple compared to now, but I still tell my kids that they are spoiled.
Combat, Frogman, Missle Command to name a few.

Why is Warcraft3 on that list?

The latest version of grand theft auto, socom, hitman, and 13 to name a few. The game everquest is a very popular rpg for online pc players. My all time favorite game which is hard to select between contra, bionic commando, street fighter, killer instinct has to to PACMAN. This games concept is so simple eat the dots and ghosts or be eaten by the ghosts, but very addictive and enjoyable.
