While most houses were dealing 5, 5.5 or 6, they had the rams at 6.5 115 or + 6.5 -105 for the Browns. This bold move obviously made a big difference....Question for you sharp folks...since they have low limits & cater to smaller players...do you think this move made them money or cost them money tonight? After all I bet most people only have one account & play there regardless of the line? what do u guys think?

they had a ton of squares who laid the -6 1/2 and made a killing. sure there some that had the +6 1/2 at -105 but this place has 97 % squares and they are grinning.

I had +6.5 at SIA - but the most you can play is a nickel - but it $500 more than I would get anywhere else

It's hard to imagine anyone laying what they charge on many favs, but there must be plenty that do. This book is strictly for dog players or those that don't know any different and will take the fav regardless.

I dont think SIA ever had it at 4.5 However...& if that is the case they would have had lots of action at minus 4.5 & 5 & 5.5 & then some browns action at + 6.5 meaning a bad day for them...would it not....(Dont know about the rest of the week but they had + 6.5 all day today...)

They had 5.5 early in the week and I don't think it went to 6.5 until today. I would guess that they got middled as they book to action.

So upon Closer examination this bold move may have cost them rather than made them money? Unless the squares waited till the last Day to pound the minus 6.5? By the way Bryan it was -115 & -105 for a large part of the day...i know I got + 6.5 -105.

SIA often has lines off -110. I've seen them go to -130.

I also believe SIA gets a ton of square action right before game time. If you ever noticed, their site is difficult to access 15 minutes before a game. Given their clientele, I am sure a lot of late favorite action is coming in at that time. The average person playing at SIA probably doesn't even have another out, so they don't know what the line "should" be. The avergae square also doesn't realize the value of playing favs early in the week...most make their decisions a half hour before the game waiting for "breaking news".

And booking to action is the best business model out there. Cloning lines is a lot tougher because you are not catering to your clientele.

They used to have them. Even square Patrick got ran from this joint so don't know for sure right now though.

ok, I was wrong and they have spreads at values other than -110. I just hadn't seen them because I've been betting moneyline only until recently.

Sorry for being an idiot..
