Oklahoma, LSU to play in BCS title game
Despite being ranked No. 1 in both polls, Southern California will stay home and play in the Rose Bowl while the Sooners and Tigers will meet in the Sugar Bowl.

If USC beats Mich soundly & LSU beats Okla 14-13 and they redid all the factors going into the BCS standings after those games wouldn't USC be National Champs even in the BCS?

The answer to this (and every question about the BCS) is:

NOBODY FRIGGIN KNOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget, if you REALLY wanted to re-calculate the BCS after the Sugar Bowl, you'd have to factor EVERY bowl game!

Go figure, it would probably depend on the winner of the Houston/Hawaii game. Once again, Hawaii controls the BCS!

WOW....2 years in a row USC gets bent over.

In a sense, I'm glad-let's scrap this worthless BCS system & set up a 8 team bracket for the title.

How cool would that be.....

I had a feeling this would happen, everyone spoke of Oklahoma like they were invincible. You know what that usually means....

LSU is clearly the best team in the country right now.

McPup, I'm guilty of being on that bandwagon. My jaw was hanging all night watching K-St BTF out of Oklahoma....and they certainly did BTF out them.

I don't follow football as close as a lot of others around here but how did USC get screwed last year?? Miami and OSU were both undefeated while USC had 2 losses. Under no system did they belong in the NC game.

Sorry, it was 2 years ago when Nebraska came to get sodomized by Miami.
