I believe LSU has a better than average chance of jumping to the #2 spot in the BCS with a convincing win today vs. Georgia.

Not sure if they are capable of that however, as most people do. Which is precisely why they could open many eyes today with a convincing win vs. the Bulldogs. Put it this way, if this happens, it is going to be a very very very close battle for that #2 spot.

I wish it were true. Alot of BCS experts are saying ND wins coupled with a USC win & they are in.

SCREW THE BCS!

Oklahoma Vs. USC in the Nokia Sugar Bowl. With Oklahoma a very small favorite. You heard it here.

That would be the leading scenario as of right now, I agree.

Wow, does USC get the shaft or what

it MAKES THE MOST SENSE A PAC 10/BIG10 ROSE BOWL. ALSO THE BIG 12 IMPROVED THEMSELVES (BOWL WISE) WITH AN OU LOSS, AS OU IS STILL IN THE CHAMP GAME AND K STATE MOVES UP.

BOTTOM LINE AS ALL WAYS FOLLOW THE MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$

THE BIG 12 MADE OUT TONIGHT.

The only problem is you said your scenario makes the most sense. Since when does what makes the most sense ever happen involving these type of situations?

It would be a crime to have either USC or LSU left out of the Sugar Bowl. But one of them will be left out because Okla is in. The only way Okla is left out is if the coaches or AP poll votes Okla below a team with 2 losses.

loss or no loss today. The question is who will they play. Let's see Navy beat Army, but Navy lost to Notre Dame, who lost to USC, so LSU loses .000002 points. Plus by beating Georgia they lose .000003 points because Georgia drops out of the top 10 because of the loss to LSU. Consequently, LSU hurt their chances by winning. A tie and they might have been a cinch also. Right?
