I had over 97 2nd half...didn't get it but the overtime covered it. Is overtime included for purposes of 2nd half wagers or is it dependent on the book? Thanks.

congrats.
I can accept close calls both ways without wincing but OT really stings or can make your day. Sucks betting the under and hitting by 20 and then someone hits a 3 to tie. ahhh

I had an under bet once and it took triple OT to beat me. I felt like I had been hit in the stomach with a sledgehammer.

Yes, OT is BS.

If a game ends 7 minutes early for some reason - the Unders DO NOT win. If a game ( UNLV/WISC last year ) gets called early, the Unders are NO ACTION because the game didnt go the full time -- but if a game goes 4 OT's Unders LOSE -- Where is the justice in this ?

If I bet a College 2nd Half Under -- I am betting it under for 20 minutes of action --- Not 35 minutes (3 OT).

as long as you know the rules ahead of time. SOmtimes you gotta get the extra .5 point to throw off the odds of OT or else leave it alone.

If it is true that the books get hurt when a lot of Favs and Overs come in, then I have a suggestion for them.

Make the rules be fair. What is good for the goose, should be good for the gander. If over bettors get a bail out (No Action) when a game doesnt go the full time, then shouldnt Under bettors also get a bail out when it goes an extra 5 -20 minutes ?

Why wouldnt a large number of players bet Favs and Overs with the current unfair and unequal vegas rules pertaining to OT ? I have bet so many games under 200 and it will be like 84-84 at the end of regulation ( 32 point winner ), then its 94-94 after 1 OT, then I lose 103-98. But last year I had Wisconsin under and I got No Action because the game didnt go all the way.

Ok, I can live with that No Action, but I should get No Action for every under and dog I have lost in 2OT, 3 OT, and even 4 OT.

This is like if I owned a casino and I had a special rule on my roulette wheels.

If you bet Black and its not black -- you lose.
If you bet Red and its not red - you lose if its odd, you get No ACtion if its even.

Now one day Red comes up 16 straight times, and 40 out of 50 times. I am pissed because I notice that almost everyone is playing red and noone is playing black. I am getting my arse kicked when a lot of reds come up and I dont understand why all these assholes insist on playing red.

Let me be the first to congratulate everyone who had the Oklahoma / Michigan State game over 131. 65-62 with 3 seconds left -- only chance in hell is OT. Congrats to everyone who had it over.

P.S. , I have Kentucky vs. UCLA under 150 . Its 23-11 with 6 minutes left in the first. I sure hope this game doesnt get called with a couple minutes left -- would suck to get a no action because the game only went 35 of the 40 minutes.

Again, congrats all over bettots on the Oklahoma game -- it may take you 55 minutes of action to get the over, but congrats on the win.

Maybe I am way off on this issue ( I have now lost 4 plays because of OT in the last 3 days )

I think the Las Vegas rule that a game is no action if it doesnt go 56 minutes is a BS rule. I guess the theory is that it isnt fair to a guy who bet the game over because he was betting for a 40 minute game ( if college bball), but shouldnt the same apply for an under better. I bet that second half under 97 1/2 ( I was betting it under for 24 minutes, not 29 or 34 or 39 or 44)

It seems to be a very unfairly applied rule.

Besides, if a game gets called 6 minutes early and a guy loses his Over because of it, that is something that might happen once every 3 or 4 years. Us under bettors lose Unders because of OT at least 10 -20 times a year.
