Carmelo over Lebron

Although Lebron is having a good year and great stats for a rookie, Carmelo is the better rookie and player in my opinion. Look at the 1st place Nuggets, that's right, alone atop of the Midwest. I've been a Rockets fan all of my life and everytime I hear the name Nuggets, I immediately look at the bottom of the standings for over 10 yrs now. The Nuggets best years were when they had Dantley and Larry Nance over 10 yrs ago. Not the case anymore. Look at the kid. The Nuggets picked up a few key role players and handed this kid the rock and said lead our team. Indeed he has. No disrespect to these players but Andre Miller, Veshon Lenord, and Marcus Camby are good players but the only addition on this team that clearly stands out is Carmelo. And the kid is only a rookie, how scary is that. When was the last time you heard Nuggets 1st place, alone ! Gotta be over 12 years .....Carmelo is going to be one special player in this league.

Love Carmelo as a player, great game, great poise.

However, think that LeBron will be bettter player long-term. One of the problems LeBron has is that Ricky Davis and Darius Miles play the same way and it doesn't allow his talent to shine as much as it should.

That being said, i don't think you can go wrong with either one.

'melo is the pure score, but king james is mr. everything. 'melo will be a great player for his era, but james will be one of the best of all time.

Lebron will be a better player than Carmelo? Based on what? The idiot experts said Lebron would lead the Cavs to the playoffs this year. So far Lebron is leading the Cavs to the all-time NBA record for consecutive road losses. 33 straight losses and counting. The record is 43. I think Lebron will get them there.

Love both players..I get the DISH package and watch most the games..

Lebron is great, but playing with cast of characters with great "streetball ablilities"..He throws passes these guys cant believe are coming..But remember the ball is in his hands most the time..He must create and feel that pressure..

Carmelo..A real treat..Making all better..Around the rim this kid finds the ball, and his athleticism is starting to show..Real quick off his feet on the offensive glass, and not shy..Miller and Boykins penetrate and give him good opportunities..Barry playing great..

Bot players are great for the game..Denver winning is enough impact for me..

I sayed it once and I'll say it again...MELO is so much better than Lebron...MELO will be Rookie of the year...MELO will lead the Nuggets to the playoffs and Lebron will see them on TV from home....

bottom line MELO is the REAL DEAL...over all!

Even if he plays 20 years MELO won't touch the King

Anthony, who turn 33 in May, said Wednesday morning that he wants to play 20 seasons.

“I would love to get 20 in. I would love — six, seven — I could do 20,” said Anthony who is in his 14th season and turns 33 this May. “I could do 20. I think I do a great job of taking care of my body. I’m going to continue doing that. Lord willing, no injuries, no severe injuries, I could see myself going for 20.”

He certainly seems ready for season No. 14 to end.
