They sure don`t make 11-1 NFL teams like they use to; The Chiefs doing it with mirrors..

When you think of 11-1 teams in years past, you think of 70`s Pittsburgh, 80`s 49ers, 85 Bears, 72 Miami. Kansas City has been about as lucky as they are good this season, they should have 4 losses right now.

The Chiefs are not even close to being in these teams class...Just as a pure football fan I will be looking more forward to OU vs LSU/USC than any upcoming NFL game...

The one thing KC has though is that home field, which they will probably have throughout the playoffs...

Baltimore is the best road playoff team, and will most likely be facing Kansas City in the 2nd round, after Baltimore beats the Colts in rd.1

The AFC West has been uncharacteristically weak this year too.

NFL teams now have to win with style points? Close games happen, particulary on the road.

dick vermiel is just that good of a coach. he'd make the lions 11-1 if you gave him enough time.

chefs go down sunday in denver and i have been saying for a good month now - and still hold to it - the chefs will NOT make the super bowl. they will make the champ game because they will play 1 of these 3 teams (indy, baltimore or cincy - and none of these 3 have the "gonads" to win in KC) but the next week when kc plays the winner of pats/titans for the right to go to the SB - THEN they will be exposed as the frauds they really are - and lose!
