This site is the most accurate and "fun to read" take on the Hotels/Casinos.

New Years Eve is a hoot, I'll be Downtown dancing in the street ( 49 going on 23 )

Enjoy !

Microbrews at Ellis Island???
What so you can get some crack and hookers on the side, Fish, lol.
There are plenty of other microbrews in town.

You want a good beer and bar atmosphere, take a cab to the Crown and Anchor.

Do not do drugs, but your right, on occassion may find a quality hooker there. About one in every five years.

You will be there for my birthday.

(at least I think)

A week is a pretty long time in vegas. You will have time to do a lot.

But for New Year's ever that will be a blast. I haven't been there for New Year's yet.

Anyway, there is so much to do.
Let me ask you a few questions- so I know your likes before I tell you what is good

Food- what is your fav. kind?

Clubs- how old are you? what kind of music do you like? what type of "scene" do you like?

Are you planning on going to any shows?
(go to www.vegas.com this site has the shows that will be there it also has some other tours and attractions you can look at)

there is a helicopter tour I always wanted to do.. if by some chance you do that let me know how is

hmmm-
let me think of my all time favorites and I will post again later

3 non-gambling treats:

1. The Liberace museum...almost as good as Graceland

2. Drive about 40 min east on the 15 and take the exit for Valley of the Fire (or whatever it is called). It's a beautiful red rock canyon landscape great for a hike, picnic or just a drive, which ultimately loops back to the 15.

Being in Vegas for a full week is pushing it. A trip to the canyons will clear the head some.

3. Boulder dam is also an obvious stop if you're there for more than a weekend.

If your looking for girls, a week in Vegas is plenty of time to find the perfect stripper to run your life for you

just budget a couple k for the week on this and you'll be going to after hours clubs with the A-team. Saturday night a lot of the girls go out after work (after 4 or 5am) and Sunday night even more, since they tend not to work on Mondays. If you're not looking for girls then more power to you. Who can really afford that shit anyway? My advice with strippers is don't try to save money...they'll love you for it.

Valley of Fire comes with my highest recommendation also. Did not include it on my list because of the distance.

Here to answer any more inquiries on Vegas if needed. Home for18-20 years of my life.....sad to say.

Why is IN-N-OUT an attraction.....we've had them here in san jose for a while, but anyways i'll make sure to check out most of those places...yeah my friends wont let me bring a laptop but i might have to hide it somewhere and use it while in the bathroom or something.

Angelle
Yeah New Years Eve is the big reason im going down there i heard from bunch of people that it was a blast....regarding food....i eat almost anything and there is nothing i really dislike.....i am 20 but have never had a problem getting into any clubs, i like rap/hip-hop that kind of stuff but can listen to anything except country music. i'm staying from the dec 29th to jan 5th, shows and the helicopter ride i dont know yet about but we'll see.

Pretending
