My take on BHB

I don't know if they are being dos'd or not, and frankly I don't care..

I don't bet there, and it seems to me that only those players who bet there should give a shit one way or another.

BHB has said here, that players can call bets in - or if players were nervous, call and get their post up money out of BHB.

NOBODY has posted here, that I'm aware of, that they could not phone a bet in - or get their requested post up money back.

IF you don't like playing with a book, for whatever reason, go elsewhere and STFUp.

All this whining and speculation is just plain stupid.

A BIG part of this uproar over claiming a DoS attack stems from Blue Marlins claim in the middle of their last weekend-when they were already basically "done".

I think some folks mistook this place for a watchdog site. You know, a site where players could forewarn others of possible problems with a book so new folks coming here or those thinking of posting up somewhere new could have information to make up their own mind. Shame on them for thinking this way. We should all STFU about books and stick to posting topics about who are favorite teams are and such.

BHB, who I'm certainly no shill for, has invited people to get their pu $ out, and yet NOBODY here has said they have been slow paid, or otherwise jacked around getting paid.

If you got money there and can't get it out, then certainly post it here, that's newsworthy, the rest of it is just speculation and gossip.

Joey- You're on the other side of the counter so some things may not concern you that do the player. BHB has done some dumb things such as paying 7-1 on 3 teamers. Then they allowed you to move the line one full point if you played the board. This was later changed to 6-1 and 1/2 a point but I have some serious questions about this book. This trial and error method of booking coupled with them having no idea on how to fix their website may be too much for them to handle.

I see books overspending on advertising, yet not retaining customers,because the have stupid clerks - which is stupid.

I see books sticking their own opinion, instead of booking to the money - which is stupid.

I see books advertise on sites that don't produce results - which is stupid.

I see a lot of stupid shit.

The point is - IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY WITH A BOOK AND YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY OUT, GET PAID AND PLAY ELSEWHERE.

I just hate whiners, who have nothing to whine about.

They offered all players all their money on the spot, and nobody has complained about getting jerked off by them.

And I could care less if they are being DoS'd or not.

If you or anyone is unhappy with their service and you can get your money out, then leave.

This will probably be my last comment on the BHB matter, as it stands now.

Some might consider it whining but every customer they have has the right to complain about service.

Even if you aren't a customer, I think freedom of speech gives someone the right to complain about something that looks fishy.

I rather see people "whine" about a sportsbook then multiple posts on favorite teams etc which have nothing to do with this section.

well said pat that is some very sound advice but what i want to know is how many posters here have money in there BHB accounts with there website being down for so long now

the only reason i asked this question is because i would have to assume that most of the people that signed up through the Rx referal link would have to be Inet players and not phone type people although i could be wrong in regaurds to the phone but i kinda doubt it really IMO.

Guys, it doesn't bother me if someone complains about service. Books should be greatful they are getting feedback and try to do something about it. However this DOS stuff is quite a stretch. Some hammer them because "well Blue Marlin said they were being attacked and then went out of business". Yeah but Hollywood, WWTS, Cascade, Pinnacle, etc.... all got attacked too. They are all up and going even if they did do it quicker. For all of us who have absolutely no clue of what is going on to be even attempting to link them to Blue Marlin is a stretch at best. People are just throwing things out for the hell of it. We got attacked and I was on the phone with Infopoop and knew it was 100% legit but others said we were faking it as well. Something about we were really trying to move our servers. Everything they came up with they were completely wrong about. I can tell you to be attacked is bad enough, to be out here trying to prove you aren't lying makes it even more stressful.

The book is open and taking care of their customers the best way they can. If you have money there and are unsatisfied then pull it out. Some people harrassing them are doing it for reasons other than worried about players getting stiffed, it is a personal agenda. That is what I have objected to. Thanks.

I don't have money at this book as it never struck me as a place I wanted to play at but you could understand why some people are a little worried? I think it is a natural reaction for people to think the worse in these times & specifically when it comes to DOS as other books dealt with the issue faster then BHB has.

Hopefully everything will work out & this DOS crap will stop!

pat and egd, i think more people are worried about this right now because of all the books that have recently went belly up and honestly can you blame them because i sure can't after seeing 2 books go down within about a months time.

i hope everyones speculations are wrong and BHB proves that without any question of a doubt when they do get there site back up and running.
