I know we're a ways off, and nothing is really set until the combines are finished ....

BUT, let's say their are no major injuries and no major disappointments in the combines.

Where do you project the following players going -

1. R. Williams - WR Texas
2. L. Fitzgerald - WR Pitt
3. K. Winslow - TE Miami

I'm trying to project how many games the Bills have to lose to get somebody that could have an immediate impact on this weaponless offense.

Thanks.

Lander, youd need about 3 more seasons of pure crap *like this one* to get enough draft picks to make your team worthwhile....

youre welcome.

Buffalo should draft Winslow as he can open up the field for them, round 2 they can get a WR, as draft is loaded at this position

Mike Williams is the best wr in college football. Bills hired losers all the way around, they dont evaluate talent very well, Bledsoe is pathetic as is coaching.

Chris,
I think Buffalo will end up with a pick somewhere between 10 to 15. Do you think Winslow will last that long?

Good point on the receivers, plus they take so long to develop. It's probably better to try to get a 2nd or 3rd round speedster and a decent free agent.

L. Fitzgerald is not going to be available for the draft. He will be a junior next year and all indications are that he will be back at Pitt.

On a related note, any prospects from the flag football champion team at Lander|

Thanks for the update on Fitz; I wasn't aware of his intentions to remain in school.

Actually I don't think he has any choice. Only option would be to challenge NFL in court. Does not look like he will bother, given the amount of time NFL would hold up in court.

p.s. Congrats on the Bills win today.

Suprised you are so sure but don't care to wager, but I do have much respect for your right to your opinion.

Good luck with your games, sir. It's all good.

Hypothetically Fitz comes out, would he be a top 10? top 15?

I still think Roy Williams is still the best WR, despite the amazing abilities of Fitz.

Fitzgerald is #1 pick if team with #1 pick drafts a reciever. Any team that drafts a reciever ahead of Fitzgerald will wish they had not.

I'd take Williams.

VVV,
Do you think all 3 are top 10 picks? I know it will come down to team needs, so let's rephrase - are all 3 top 10 talents?

Talent is there for all three. Williams and Fitzgerald wide, Kellen tight. I must say, however, if I were an NFL executive making a draft decision, Winslow's well-publicised tirade would be a consideration in my evaluation.

Intangibles such as character and judgement must be considered in today's salary cap environment.

Fitzgerald should be number 1 if he does come out. Roy, Mike, and Reggie Williams will all make great receivers, can't go wrong with any of them.
