Could be, but I don't see it happening.

The backlash against gambling is pretty hardcore in the states.....and they love propping up slot junkies to show how it "ruined their lives".

Imagine an honest(farfetched of course) uncle Sam with all of our wagering losses on sports. They could do so much good for our country but instead we send it to some foreign country where the USA may never see a cent of it going to a good cause.

You can go online and bet on the local soccer matches through Banco Nacional de Costa Rica. I think you can even call your bets in!

The US govt. will "GET IT" sooner or later...

The line is meaningless. What's the holdback? What's the payout? That's what you have to compare to the vig that you're paying with a book.
Guys, you're being naive. There would be so many layers of tax, Fed, State, Local, etc., that the % payout would be so low, you would have to pick 65% winners to get even.

Yes, that's why so many books are doing so well. Even Vegas is clearing slot machines out to make room for the sports book operations.

I am not saying that the lottery here is the nuts far from it,first you must play parlays wich I dont care for. 3 teamers are 5/1 4 teamers are 9/1 and 5 teamers and up are pari mutual,The only time I play it is when I am getting the best of it and then there just small parlays I was just trying to make a point that if they get there head out of the sand they could make money thats all
