Happened just today, was walking in NYC on 5th Avenue. A bus stopped almost in front of us with the big NASA ad blazing on the side. Two guys started talking about it, I feigned tourist acting like I was looking in awe at a building to hear them talk. Conversation went like this:
1: "Man who would send money to a place like that?"
2: "Hey I did about a year ago, lost it all in like 2 weeks"
1: "Why did you do that?"
2: "Got tired of having to call in my plays to my man only after 10am on Sunday, you know sometimes my old lady wants to go to church"
1: "Hmm"
2: "Yeah don't know why I do it, whenever I gamble I lose, period. I go to Atlantic City and I am back on the Parkway in 2 hours broke. I go to Vegas for 4 days and I am broke by night 2. I can't get lucky at gambling."
1: "Why don't you stop doing it?"
2: "Hell its fun to have a little action. Who the hell would watch half these games if it weren't for having the line?"
Gotta love the honesty of these New Yorkers
