This post is basically to say Happy Thanksgiving and to enlighten you all to the fact that despite the failures of ACES GOLD, NAB, Blue Marlin, etc. which certainly sucks, that at this time of giving thanks, that we should acknowledge that the VAST MAJORITY of books that we all deal with on a day to day basis are VERY VERY GOOD
Sure, we have people on other sites who want to spread hatred throughout the year, only accentuating the negative. However, at at time when we should be giving thanks, let us all take time to appreciate all of the great books out there who have provided great service, and made our off-shore gambling experience awesome! What we all forget is that in the "real world" with regulations, and laws to protect the consumer, many businesses fail every single day and when they fail people get hurt for big money. And I am not talking about just Enron and Worldcom. All of us who go to these forums and spread nothing but negativity, should remember that people get burned every single day for big big money in what are supposed to be "legitimate investments and enterprises." When you think of how many books are out there that are basically in our circle, the fact that only 2 or 3 failures come to mind tells me that overall, the off-shore industry has been great! I personally would like to thank all of the books that have been a pleasure to deal with, especially those who save me so much money with reduced juice and free half points as in 1995 my local guy made me lay 110 and said i was lucky to have an out. I would like to thank pinnacle and IIS for 105.I would like to thank canbet,, hollywood, betpanam, and several others. I would like to thank skybook, where on Monday night alone I won $500. with the free half point, where back in the old days, it would have been just a push. I would like to thank all of the books who have created so much interest with all of the free money you have given away in all of the great contests. The off-shore industry in so many ways has been great for me, and i would guess for the majority of you guys here who used to bet with local bookies. On this day I just wanted to say thanks and remind us all that things ain't so bad. Happy Thanksgiving, and let's have a prosperous and healthy year.
