Is this plan to be industry wide or just for advertisers? The part about everyone working together scares me as it is hard to get a group to agree on the temperature, let alone this level of a plan.

yes it is. But it will NEVER happen. lets face it guys, in the UNREGULATED WORLD OF THE OFFSHORE BOOKS, we are at thier mercy.

So do your homework, and only play with the BOOKS that are proven..

I like the way Bill thinks but I think he is skipping the Learn how to crawl & Learn how to walk stage and going straight to the perfect marathon.

We will need smaller plans that are built on over time to reach Bill's utopia imo.

After reading the posts on this Board and others for a few months, I can't see how you will ever get the "independent" commisson that is proposed. Too many covert connections, business relations, history, etc. between many persons with an interest in the off-shore gambling business.

It can be done, but I agree completely with most in that it seems impossible. I am merely stating a case for the best case scenario fully aware it isn't going to happen overnight. Bringing up the issues and getting everyone to talk about best practices while slowly implementing measures is the best we can hope for. Sure it is utopia, but if we ever did get there the business would boom and everyone would win. Problem is that some that are doing just fine with the status quo have little to gain over the short-term and would only adopt it if others got it to work. That is the biggest problem, but it surely doesn't hurt talking about it and having all the talent that trolls this board putting in extra ideas of how to make things better.

uhhh....dont they already have that.....uhhh

OSGA uhhhhh

internet gambling association uhhhh

how about the licensed jurisdictions........isnt that what their supposed to do........antiguia etc

if anyone beleives that panama will do anything of the kind their on crack......

before panam opened sting launched a anti CR pro PA campaign saying all this bull$hit about legal jurisdiction yada yada yada......while hes reporting he said something along the lines of panam is waiting for their license which needs to be approved by "the *&^%$ minister" and that could take some time, he needs to be pursuaded to sign off on the deal yada yada yada

my friends, i have been doing biz in panama for 1 1/2 years, that town is more corrupt than CR will ever be, the only jursdiction that is safe would be australia

this idea you have WILDBILL is a nice idea but very far from ever becoming a reality..........i salute you for your efforts and need to say that you have guts (or lots of time to kill) to embark on such an uphill battle

just my 2 cents if it has any value here

Are we even guaranteed in Australia? Maybe people would go to jail for stealing? Does that mean we get paid?

Thanks

It all sounds good but you'll never get these books to show how much they have in players post up money.Only solution play with the books that are cosistently mention on this fourm that have been around for at least five years and have never had any complaints about no-pays.Top five books to have money at are in no specific order Chris, Pinacle , Hollywood, Olympic, WWTs, Sportsbook.com You can't find any complaints about no-pays with this list.

Bill, good job. Great post. You bring the forum up a notch. We need more productive thought like you've brought to the table.

Some things come to mind Bill:
The books that are solvent have earned that trust already. A commission doesn't need to tell us who they are. Those few books are not going to put their business on the street anyway. There is a reason MOST books set up shop in the third world. THEY DON'T WANT TO BE REGULATED.

No book that does billions will give the commission there real 'books'. Who's going to pay the army of auditors to audit the 'books' on a weekly basis? Could a book in trouble set up phony accounts and 'beat' them to inflate or disguise their bottom line?.....ScottyS
