actually statistics will tell you the onside kick has a much better chance.

An onside kick is what? 20%

I can't imagine 4th & 19 against a fierce Bucs defense being any better (or even close for that matter).

Well, I wouldn't figure on 20% for an onside kick but if the odds are beter than 4th and 19, I am glad to hear it. I still uspect 4th and 19 is easier but clearly I don't know. I'd prefer to be wrong here.

I am sure 4th and 19 is alot more probable than an onside kick NOT off a tee!

I have seen the stats before though it included 4th and 20+ yards. I will try to find it.

There was a play call for 4th & 19, but there was nowhere to go and escape the pass rush. It was lose/lose.
