As a sports-gambler, we're you never involved in organized sports?

Just curious, have all of us played organized sports at one time in our lives, if not now? I wonder how much of an under-nourished competitive need is behind our desire to gamble on sports.

I know myself, when I am rooting on an individual or a team I really wish I were in the game myself. I do my best to seperate being a fan of the sport and betting sports, but I wonder if I would bet if I didn't give a shit about athletics.

Has anyone here only bet sports and never really played any?

I played a ton of organized sports, I think there is a connection. A love for sports combined with something to "compete" in probably has led many to gambling.

Unfortunately since I began competing with my bookie he has been the huge favorite.

I like the competitveness, I actually hate craps, roulette, that is gambling, I am too competitive, that is why I quit poker, too many people used as a social activity and I was competitive and the pit bosses didnt care about the rules, pit bosses wont doing anything about people acting out of turn, so I would get on them a little, also as a pitcher I like to throw timing off by taking my time on occasion. I still play competitve sports, I want to win a gold ball in tennis.
